Windows, Doors & Glass in Memorial City, Houston
The mixed-use district around CityCentre and Memorial City Mall: condos, townhomes, offices and the residential streets that sit against them.
What Makes Memorial City Different
Memorial City is not the Memorial Villages, and treating them as the same market is how a specification gets written for the wrong building. The Villages are large-lot residential under oak canopy. Memorial City is the mixed-use district at I-10 and Beltway 8 -- CityCentre, the mall, medical and office towers, and a ring of mid-rise condos and townhomes that behave more like commercial glazing than like a house in Hunters Creek.
That changes the product mix. A CityCentre condo replacement is often a storefront-adjacent aluminum unit with acoustic laminated glass, because I-10 and the Beltway are not background noise here, they are the view. A townhome backing onto Gessner has the same problem on a smaller scale. Vinyl will fill the opening; it will not take the traffic noise out of a bedroom that faces the feeder.
HOA and building management are the other Memorial City constant. Mid-rise and condo work goes through a management company, not a homeowner standing in the driveway, and the install window is whatever the building will permit -- freight elevator, hoist, weekend-only, no debris in the garage. We quote that as part of the job rather than discovering it after the units are on a truck.
There is also a ring of conventional residential just off the district, along Memorial Drive west and toward Town & Country, where the brief looks more like a Sugar Land replacement: original 1980s and 90s windows, west heat, and an HOA that cares about frame color. Those jobs sit on this page because the address is Memorial City even when the architecture is not mixed-use.
If the project is actually in the Memorial Villages -- Hunters Creek, Piney Point, Bunker Hill, Hedwig -- use the Memorial page. That is architect-led large-span residential, and the drawing set is a different conversation from a CityCentre balcony slider.
Architectural Aluminum, Custom Sizes and Finishes

Minimal Sliding Doors
Thermally broken 6063-T5 aluminum with German hardware. The slimmest sightlines and the largest panels we build -- the default for a Memorial City elevation that has to look as expensive as the house.

Folding & Lift-and-Slide
Walls of glass that actually open. Made to the drawing, not picked from a catalog -- which is why this work lands with a manufacturer.

Custom Replacement
When the brief is every opening, we will still tell you where premium aluminum is worth it and where vinyl is the better spend.

Other Ways We Help
Memorial City Questions
Do you install in condos and mid-rises in Memorial City?
Yes, with the building's rules in the quote. Freight access, hoist, working hours and debris handling have to be priced, or the number is fiction.
Is this the same as Memorial?
No. Memorial City is the mixed-use district at I-10 and the Beltway. Memorial and the Villages are the residential area west of the loop. We serve both; they are not the same product mix.
Will new glass actually cut I-10 noise?
Laminated acoustic glass makes a measurable difference on openings that face the feeder. It will not make a CityCentre bedroom silent. We will tell you which openings are worth the upgrade and which are not.
