How this job actually runs
A sunroom quote that is only a product number is incomplete. The slab, the beam, the drainage and the HVAC are the rest of the job.
Most of the sunroom work we do in Houston starts as a covered patio that is unused six months of the year. The conversion is a glass wall on three sides, tied into the existing roof and slab, using the same sliding and folding systems we manufacture. We build that enclosure and we install it.
Katy and Sugar Land are the strongest fit because the houses already have the depth of patio this wants. Inner-loop houses more often add a smaller glass room or convert a porch. The product types, glass wall conversions, sliding enclosures, screen rooms, four-season rooms, are on the sunrooms hub. This page is the construction service that produces them.
Permits, HOA packets and whether the room is conditioned are decided on the measure. We will not call a screen room a four-season room, and we will not pretend a patio that ponds water is ready for glass. If the job is really a new sliding door in an existing opening, replacement is the shorter path.
Send a photo of the patio. The after-image on some of our sunroom pages is still illustrative until operations supplies a named Katy before-and-after. The specification is real either way.

What You Can Expect
We build the enclosure
Not a product drop-shipped for another trade to fight with on your patio.
Specified for Houston heat
Glass, thermal break and shading are part of the construction conversation.
Permits and HOA from the measure
Drawings come from the same appointment that sizes the wall.
Same crews as our window work
Flashing into an existing roof and slab is installation, not a side hustle.
Typical Jobs
- Katy and Sugar Land homeowners with a deep covered patio that never gets used
- Anyone converting a porch or patio who wants one company for glass and construction
- HOA properties that need drawings before the board will look at glass
Questions about this service
Is this different from the sunrooms pages?
Those pages are the types of enclosure. This page is the construction service. Start here if you want to know how we take the job; go there if you already know you want a glass wall, a screen room or a four-season room.
Do you need to pour a new slab?
Often the existing patio slab is enough. If it is not, pitch, cracks, size, we will say so on the measure rather than glass over a problem.
Can the room be heated and cooled?
A four-season room can be, if the envelope and the HVAC plan match. A screen room cannot. We will not sell you the wrong one.
