Window and Door Replacement in Houston
Most of our residential work is replacement: tired builder vinyl, swollen sashes and patio doors that no longer roll. We retrofit into the opening you have.

How this job actually runs
Replacement is not a catalog swap. The opening, the flashing and the tier have to match the house that is already there.
Houston housing stock from the 1980s through the 2000s is now at the age where original windows fail: fogged units, crank operators that seize, and aluminum that was never thermally broken. Replacement is the core of what we do in Katy, Sugar Land and Spring, and a large share of inner-loop remodels.
Not every failing window is our job, and we will say so. Hardware, weatherstrip and patio rollers are a repair trade, not a manufacturer. Read repair versus replacement for the way we sort it on the phone, or go straight to the symptom: fogged double pane glass, drafts and the electricity bill, or a patio door that will not slide.
We retrofit into existing openings wherever we can, so you are not rebuilding the wall to take a new window. Where the opening has to change, a slider becoming a folding wall, a punched window becoming a picture unit, that is decided on the measure, not assumed in a quote. See good, better, best if you are still choosing a tier, and impact windows if the address is storm-exposed.
A west wall and a shaded bedroom do not need the same glass. We will say so. The cheaper honest package is often mixed: premium aluminum on the openings that earn it, vinyl or Elevate on the rest. Because we manufacture two of those lines, that advice is not a loss-leader.
Disruption is the question every homeowner asks. We work room by room, leave the house closed at night, and haul the old units. A handful of windows is often a day on site once the new units have been fabricated. The wait is in the shop, not in your living room.

What You Can Expect
Keep the opening where it works
Most replacements drop into the existing rough. We will tell you when it cannot.
Mix tiers on purpose
Aluminum where the elevation demands it; vinyl or Elevate where it does not.
Cooling and noise, not just looks
Fogged dual-pane and leaky sashes are why August bills climb. Replacement fixes both.
One installer, local warranty
The crew that sets the unit is the crew that comes back if something is wrong.
Typical Jobs
- 1980s-2000s homes in Spring, Katy and Sugar Land whose original windows are failing
- Inner-loop remodels swapping builder units for thermally broken aluminum
- Coastal addresses replacing standard glass with an impact-rated assembly
Questions about this service
Can you replace windows without tearing up the walls?
Usually yes. Most of our replacement work is a retrofit into the existing opening. If the new product needs a larger rough, a folding wall in place of a small slider, we will say so on the measure.
How much does window replacement cost in Houston?
It depends on the tier, the sizes and how many openings. We do not publish a number that would be wrong for your house. The free measure produces a specification you can actually compare.
Do I have to replace every window at once?
No. Room-by-room is common, especially when a west wall or a patio door is the problem and the rest of the house can wait. We will not force a full-home package to make the quote tidier.
