Why This Line Exists in Our Range

Protection Shouldn’t Be All or Nothing

Before we carried this line, a coastal homeowner asking for impact glass got one answer from us: premium aluminum. For a lot of houses that was the wrong answer not because the product was wrong, but because the price meant the job never happened.

The IMPACT Series changes the conversation. It is impact-rated vinyl, listed with the Texas Department of Insurance, manufactured in Grand Prairie and delivered to us in quickly. That combination, credentialed, affordable and fast, is specifically what a Pearland or Friendswood homeowner needs, and the short lead time matters most in exactly the post-storm window when demand spikes and competitors quote months out.

The manufacturer publishes the line themselves at the Elevate IMPACT Series page, and the Texas Department of Insurance windstorm page is the public source for what the listing means. Whether a given product and installation satisfies the requirement at your address depends on your county and exposure, so send us the address.

It also means our coastal pages can carry two offers instead of one. You can protect the whole house at entry price, or protect it at premium, or mix, impact glazing on the exposed elevations and standard glazing where exposure is lower. That is a real engineering conversation rather than a single price.

Questions

IMPACT Series Questions

Is the Elevate IMPACT Series approved for coastal Texas?

Elevate is listed with the Texas Department of Insurance, which is the credential that matters in designated windstorm areas. Whether a specific product and installation satisfies the requirement for your address depends on your county and your exposure, so give us the address and we will confirm what applies.

How fast can I get impact windows after a storm?

Elevate reaches us quickly and we confirm the date on your quote. In the weeks after a named storm, when demand spikes and much of the market is quoting months, that gap is the single biggest reason to consider this line.

How does it compare to aluminum impact windows?

The Elevate IMPACT Series is entry-priced vinyl; our aluminum impact systems are the premium option with slimmer sightlines and much larger available panels. Both are impact-rated. If the opening is standard and the priority is protection per dollar, Elevate wins. If the opening is architectural, aluminum is the only one that can span it.

Do impact windows help with anything besides storms?

Yes, laminated glass cuts outside noise noticeably and blocks the large majority of UV. Clients frequently tell us the quiet is what they notice first.
