Buying from the factory instead of a branch
A contractor buying windows in Houston is usually buying from someone who did not build them. We are the factory, and the factory will sell you the units on their own.
Royal Windoor is a manufacturer first. Thermally broken aluminum and vinyl are built at 7248 Wynnpark Dr in the Houston Heights, and we are the authorized distributor for Elevate. Most of our work is sold and installed by us. Some of it is not, and never has been: we already supply builders who take delivery and set the units with their own people, and we already crate and ship to other states where our crews do not go.
So trade supply is not a new product line here, it is the same factory with the installation left off. What you get is what our own crews get: units made to your opening sizes rather than to a catalog, in the finish the job needs, from a shop you can drive to and argue with in person.
The honest reason to buy this way is control of the schedule. When your supplier is a branch of a national brand, your lead time is set somewhere else and a warranty callback goes into a queue. When the fabricator is twenty minutes away, a mis-measured opening is a conversation and not a claim.
If you would rather we did the whole job, that is installation. If the job is a hundred repeatable openings across an apartment community, start at multi-family packages instead, because those are quoted as a package rather than a counter order.

We build to opening sizes every day, so a non-standard width is a measurement, not a special order that resets your lead time.

Twenty minutes from most of Houston. A wrong size or a damaged unit is a conversation at the shop instead of a ticket in another state.
Two tiers we make, one we distribute
Aluminum and vinyl from our own line, and Elevate when the spec or the schedule calls for it. Mixed tiers on one job stay one order.

Questions about this service
Do you sell to other installers, or only to homeowners?
We sell to both. Homeowner work is most of what we do, and supply-only orders to builders and shops already run alongside it. If you install your own work, you can buy the product on its own.
What is the trade price?
Quoted, not published. Pricing depends on the product line, the sizes, the glass and the volume, and we are not going to put a number on a public page that would be wrong for most orders. Call (832) 681-9190 or send the openings and say you are a trade buyer.
Will you contact my customer directly?
No. On a supply order the account is yours. We quote the shop that orders, we deliver or release to that shop, and warranty conversations come back through you.
Which products can I buy supply-only?
The aluminum and vinyl we manufacture, and Elevate where we are acting as the authorized distributor. Shower glass and sunroom components can be supply-only too. We will tell you if a particular unit is a poor candidate to ship or to set without our crew.
Do I pick up, or do you deliver?
Ask when you call. Both happen, and which one makes sense depends on the order size and where the job is. Outside Greater Houston it becomes a freight question.
What has not been settled yet?
Three things, and we would rather say so than invent them. Who formally counts as a trade account, whether there is a minimum order, and what the standing terms are for a shop that buys every month. Those are being written now. In the meantime an order is quoted on its own facts, so nothing stops you asking today.
